Grinding (Bruxism) and Temporomandibular Joint Treatment

Bruxism, in other words grinding problem is  very common in our society. People generally reflect their daily stress during their sleep at nights or sometimes unconsciously at daytime by grinding or clenching their teeth.

Teeth grinding and clenching causes initially abrasion and fractures of teeth and temporomandibular joint disorders in advanced stages. If bruxism is not treated, problems like  pain as a result of temporomandibular joint wear, sound when opening and closing your mouth, trismus, not opening your mouth can be occur.
